क॒था म॒हे रु॒द्रिया॑य ब्रवाम॒ कद्रा॒ये चि॑कि॒तुषे॒ भगा॑य । आप॒ ओष॑धीरु॒त नो॑ऽवन्तु॒ द्यौर्वना॑ गि॒रयो॑ वृ॒क्षके॑शाः ॥
कथा महे रुद्रियाय ब्रवाम कद्राये चिकितुषे भगाय । आप ओषधीरुत नोऽवन्तु द्यौर्वना गिरयो वृक्षकेशाः ॥
kathā mahe rudriyāya bravāma kad rāye cikituṣe bhagāya | āpa oṣadhīr uta no 'vantu dyaur vanā girayo vṛkṣakeśāḥ ||
English translation:
“Howcan we offer (fit praise) to the mighty posterity of Rudra, or to the all-knowing Bhaga, for (the sake of obtaining) riches; may the waters, may the plural nts, protect us, and the heaven, the woods, and the mountains, whose tresses are trees.”
