आ य॒ज्ञैर्दे॑व॒ मर्त्य॑ इ॒त्था तव्यां॑समू॒तये॑ । अ॒ग्निं कृ॒ते स्व॑ध्व॒रे पू॒रुरी॑ळी॒ताव॑से ॥
आ यज्ञैर्देव मर्त्य इत्था तव्यांसमूतये । अग्निं कृते स्वध्वरे पूरुरीळीतावसे ॥
ā yajñair deva martya itthā tavyāṃsam ūtaye | agniṃ kṛte svadhvare pūrur īḻītāvase ||
English translation:
“Divine Agni, a mortal thus with sacrifices (calls upon you) who are endowed with lustre for protection; Puru adores Agni for protection when the sacred rite is solemnized.”
