व॒धेन॒ दस्युं॒ प्र हि चा॒तय॑स्व॒ वय॑: कृण्वा॒नस्त॒न्वे॒३॒॑ स्वायै॑ । पिप॑र्षि॒ यत्स॑हसस्पुत्र दे॒वान्त्सो अ॑ग्ने पाहि नृतम॒ वाजे॑ अ॒स्मान् ॥
वधेन दस्युं प्र हि चातयस्व वयः कृण्वानस्तन्वे स्वायै । पिपर्षि यत्सहसस्पुत्र देवान्त्सो अग्ने पाहि नृतम वाजे अस्मान् ॥
vadhena dasyum pra hi cātayasva vayaḥ kṛṇvānas tanve svāyai | piparṣi yat sahasas putra devānt so agne pāhi nṛtama vāje asmān ||
English translation:
“Demolish, Agni, with your weapon, the Dasyu, appropriating the sustenance to your own person n; and inasmuch, son of strength, as you satisfy the gods, so do you, Agni, chief of leaders, protect us in battle.”
