Rig Veda 4.48.1

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

वि॒हि होत्रा॒ अवी॑ता॒ विपो॒ न रायो॑ अ॒र्यः । वाय॒वा च॒न्द्रेण॒ रथे॑न या॒हि सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ ॥
विहि होत्रा अवीता विपो न रायो अर्यः । वायवा चन्द्रेण रथेन याहि सुतस्य पीतये ॥
vihi hotrā avītā vipo na rāyo aryaḥ | vāyav ā candreṇa rathena yāhi sutasya pītaye ||

English translation:

“Drink, Vāyu, the oblations yet untested, like (a prince) the terrifier of foes; (bestow) upon the worshipper wealth; come with your brilliant car to drink the Soma juice.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Like a prince the terrifier of foes: vipo rāyo = śatrūṇām vepayitā rājeva
