ऋ॒जी॒पी श्ये॒नो दद॑मानो अं॒शुं प॑रा॒वत॑: शकु॒नो म॒न्द्रं मद॑म् । सोमं॑ भरद्दादृहा॒णो दे॒वावा॑न्दि॒वो अ॒मुष्मा॒दुत्त॑रादा॒दाय॑ ॥
ऋजीपी श्येनो ददमानो अंशुं परावतः शकुनो मन्द्रं मदम् । सोमं भरद्दादृहाणो देवावान्दिवो अमुष्मादुत्तरादादाय ॥
ṛjīpī śyeno dadamāno aṃśum parāvataḥ śakuno mandram madam | somam bharad dādṛhāṇo devāvān divo amuṣmād uttarād ādāya ||
English translation:
“The straight-flying hawk, conveying the Soma from afar; the bird, attended by the gods, brought, resolute of purpose, the adorable exhilarating Soma, having taken it from that lofty heaven.”
