Rig Veda 4.6.6

भ॒द्रा ते॑ अग्ने स्वनीक सं॒दृग्घो॒रस्य॑ स॒तो विषु॑णस्य॒ चारु॑: । न यत्ते॑ शो॒चिस्तम॑सा॒ वर॑न्त॒ न ध्व॒स्मान॑स्त॒न्वी॒३॒॑ रेप॒ आ धु॑: ॥
भद्रा ते अग्ने स्वनीक संदृग्घोरस्य सतो विषुणस्य चारुः । न यत्ते शोचिस्तमसा वरन्त न ध्वस्मानस्तन्वी रेप आ धुः ॥
bhadrā te agne svanīka saṃdṛg ghorasya sato viṣuṇasya cāruḥ | na yat te śocis tamasā varanta na dhvasmānas tanvī repa ā dhuḥ ||

English translation:

“Bright-shining, Agni, beautiful and auspicious is the semblance of you who are terrible and wide-spreading, for (the nights) hide not your splendour with darkness, nor do the malignant (spirits) inflict any injury on your person n.”
