अक॑र्म ते॒ स्वप॑सो अभूम ऋ॒तम॑वस्रन्नु॒षसो॑ विभा॒तीः । अनू॑नम॒ग्निं पु॑रु॒धा सु॑श्च॒न्द्रं दे॒वस्य॒ मर्मृ॑जत॒श्चारु॒ चक्षु॑: ॥
अकर्म ते स्वपसो अभूम ऋतमवस्रन्नुषसो विभातीः । अनूनमग्निं पुरुधा सुश्चन्द्रं देवस्य मर्मृजतश्चारु चक्षुः ॥
akarma te svapaso abhūma ṛtam avasrann uṣaso vibhātīḥ | anūnam agnim purudhā suścandraṃ devasya marmṛjataś cāru cakṣuḥ ||

English translation:

“We have worshipped you (Agni), and have thereby become the performers of a good work, adoring the full and variously delighting Agni, the beautiful lustre of the radiant divinity, when the brilliant dawns have arrayed (themselves) in light.”
