इन्द्रं॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे पुरुहू॒तमुप॑ ब्रुवे । भरे॑षु॒ वाज॑सातये ॥
इन्द्रं वृत्राय हन्तवे पुरुहूतमुप ब्रुवे । भरेषु वाजसातये ॥
indraṃ vṛtrāya hantave puruhūtam upa bruve | bhareṣu vājasātaye ||
English translation:
“I invoke you, Indra, who is invoked of many for the slaying of Vṛtra, and the granting of food (as the spoil) of battle.”
