वार्त्र॑हत्याय॒ शव॑से पृतना॒षाह्या॑य च । इन्द्र॒ त्वा व॑र्तयामसि ॥
वार्त्रहत्याय शवसे पृतनाषाह्याय च । इन्द्र त्वा वर्तयामसि ॥
vārtrahatyāya śavase pṛtanāṣāhyāya ca | indra tvā vartayāmasi ||

English translation:

“We excite you, Indra, to exert the strength that destroys Vṛtra, and overpowers hostile armies.”
