Rig Veda 3.36.5

म॒हाँ उ॒ग्रो वा॑वृधे वी॒र्या॑य स॒माच॑क्रे वृष॒भः काव्ये॑न । इन्द्रो॒ भगो॑ वाज॒दा अ॑स्य॒ गाव॒: प्र जा॑यन्ते॒ दक्षि॑णा अस्य पू॒र्वीः ॥
महाँ उग्रो वावृधे वीर्याय समाचक्रे वृषभः काव्येन । इन्द्रो भगो वाजदा अस्य गावः प्र जायन्ते दक्षिणा अस्य पूर्वीः ॥
mahām̐ ugro vāvṛdhe vīryāya samācakre vṛṣabhaḥ kāvyena | indro bhago vājadā asya gāvaḥ pra jāyante dakṣiṇā asya pūrvīḥ ||

English translation:

“The mighty, fierce, auspicious Indra, the showerer (of benefits), augments (in power) as he is animated for heroic (acts) by praise; his cattle are genitive rated givers of food; many are his donations.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Many are his donations: dakṣiṇā asya pūrvīḥ: these are both epithets of gāvaḥ: bahvyastā gāvo dakṣiṇāḥ prajāyante, those many cows, givers (of milk and the like) are born
