Rig Veda 3.26.8

त्रि॒भिः प॒वित्रै॒रपु॑पो॒द्ध्य१॒॑र्कं हृ॒दा म॒तिं ज्योति॒रनु॑ प्रजा॒नन् । वर्षि॑ष्ठं॒ रत्न॑मकृत स्व॒धाभि॒रादिद्द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी पर्य॑पश्यत् ॥
त्रिभिः पवित्रैरपुपोद्ध्यर्कं हृदा मतिं ज्योतिरनु प्रजानन् । वर्षिष्ठं रत्नमकृत स्वधाभिरादिद्द्यावापृथिवी पर्यपश्यत् ॥
tribhiḥ pavitrair apupod dhy arkaṃ hṛdā matiṃ jyotir anu prajānan | varṣiṣṭhaṃ ratnam akṛta svadhābhir ād id dyāvāpṛthivī pary apaśyat ||

English translation:

Agni, thoroughly comprehending the light that is to be understod by the heart, has purified himself (by the three) purifying (forms); he has made himself most excellent treasure by (these) self-manifestations, and has thence contemplated heaven and earth.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Having by self-contemplation recognized his identity with the three manifestations, Agni, Vāyu and Āditya, he comes to know his identity with the universe, as by the text, ātmani vijñāte sarvam idam vijñātam bhavati, the self being known, all this (universe) is known
