अषा॑ळ्हो अग्ने वृष॒भो दि॑दीहि॒ पुरो॒ विश्वा॒: सौभ॑गा संजिगी॒वान् । य॒ज्ञस्य॑ ने॒ता प्र॑थ॒मस्य॑ पा॒योर्जात॑वेदो बृह॒तः सु॑प्रणीते ॥
अषाळ्हो अग्ने वृषभो दिदीहि पुरो विश्वाः सौभगा संजिगीवान् । यज्ञस्य नेता प्रथमस्य पायोर्जातवेदो बृहतः सुप्रणीते ॥
aṣāḻho agne vṛṣabho didīhi puro viśvāḥ saubhagā saṃjigīvān | yajñasya netā prathamasya pāyor jātavedo bṛhataḥ supraṇīte ||
English translation:
“Agni, who is irresistible and the showerer (of benefits), consume victorious all the cities (of the foe) and (all their) precious things; do you, the duly worshipped, the knower of all that is born, (be for us) the conductor of the first great preserving sacrifice.”
