Rig Veda 3.9.8

आ जु॑होता स्वध्व॒रं शी॒रं पा॑व॒कशो॑चिषम् । आ॒शुं दू॒तम॑जि॒रं प्र॒त्नमीड्यं॑ श्रु॒ष्टी दे॒वं स॑पर्यत ॥
आ जुहोता स्वध्वरं शीरं पावकशोचिषम् । आशुं दूतमजिरं प्रत्नमीड्यं श्रुष्टी देवं सपर्यत ॥
ā juhotā svadhvaraṃ śīram pāvakaśociṣam | āśuṃ dūtam ajiram pratnam īḍyaṃ śruṣṭī devaṃ saparyata ||

English translation:

“Offer oblations to the object of holy sacrifice, the brilliant purifier, who is dormant (in fuel); worship quietly the pervader (of the rite), the messenger (of the gods), the rapid, the ancient deity who is entitled to laudation.”
