वृ॒षा॒यन्ते॑ म॒हे अत्या॑य पू॒र्वीर्वृष्णे॑ चि॒त्राय॑ र॒श्मय॑: सुया॒माः । देव॑ होतर्म॒न्द्रत॑रश्चिकि॒त्वान्म॒हो दे॒वान्रोद॑सी॒ एह व॑क्षि ॥
वृषायन्ते महे अत्याय पूर्वीर्वृष्णे चित्राय रश्मयः सुयामाः । देव होतर्मन्द्रतरश्चिकित्वान्महो देवान्रोदसी एह वक्षि ॥
vṛṣāyante mahe atyāya pūrvīr vṛṣṇe citrāya raśmayaḥ suyāmāḥ | deva hotar mandrataraś cikitvān maho devān rodasī eha vakṣi ||
English translation:
“Divine invoker of the gods, the vast and widespreading rays shed (moisture) for you, the mighty, the victorius, the wonderful, the showerer (of benefits); do you who are all knowing, joy-bestowing, bring hither the great gods, and heaven and earth.”
