हिर॑ण्यरूप॒: स हिर॑ण्यसंदृग॒पां नपा॒त्सेदु॒ हिर॑ण्यवर्णः । हि॒र॒ण्यया॒त्परि॒ योने॑र्नि॒षद्या॑ हिरण्य॒दा द॑द॒त्यन्न॑मस्मै ॥
हिरण्यरूपः स हिरण्यसंदृगपां नपात्सेदु हिरण्यवर्णः । हिरण्ययात्परि योनेर्निषद्या हिरण्यदा ददत्यन्नमस्मै ॥
hiraṇyarūpaḥ sa hiraṇyasaṃdṛg apāṃ napāt sed u hiraṇyavarṇaḥ | hiraṇyayāt pari yoner niṣadyā hiraṇyadā dadaty annam asmai ||

English translation:

“The grandson of the waters is of olden form, of golden aspect, of golden hue, and (shines) seated upon a seat of gold; the givers of gold (at solemn rites) present to him (sacrificial) food.”
