Rig Veda 2.35.9

अ॒पां नपा॒दा ह्यस्था॑दु॒पस्थं॑ जि॒ह्माना॑मू॒र्ध्वो वि॒द्युतं॒ वसा॑नः । तस्य॒ ज्येष्ठं॑ महि॒मानं॒ वह॑न्ती॒र्हिर॑ण्यवर्णा॒: परि॑ यन्ति य॒ह्वीः ॥
अपां नपादा ह्यस्थादुपस्थं जिह्मानामूर्ध्वो विद्युतं वसानः । तस्य ज्येष्ठं महिमानं वहन्तीर्हिरण्यवर्णाः परि यन्ति यह्वीः ॥
apāṃ napād ā hy asthād upasthaṃ jihmānām ūrdhvo vidyutaṃ vasānaḥ | tasya jyeṣṭham mahimānaṃ vahantīr hiraṇyavarṇāḥ pari yanti yahvīḥ ||

English translation:

“The grandson of the waters has ascended the firmament above (the region) of the tortuously-moving (clouds), arrayed in lightning; the broad and golden-coloured (rivers) spread around, bearing (to all quarters) his exceeding glory.”
