Rig Veda 2.33.13

या वो॑ भेष॒जा म॑रुत॒: शुची॑नि॒ या शंत॑मा वृषणो॒ या म॑यो॒भु । यानि॒ मनु॒रवृ॑णीता पि॒ता न॒स्ता शं च॒ योश्च॑ रु॒द्रस्य॑ वश्मि ॥
या वो भेषजा मरुतः शुचीनि या शंतमा वृषणो या मयोभु । यानि मनुरवृणीता पिता नस्ता शं च योश्च रुद्रस्य वश्मि ॥
yā vo bheṣajā marutaḥ śucīni yā śaṃtamā vṛṣaṇo yā mayobhu | yāni manur avṛṇītā pitā nas tā śaṃ ca yoś ca rudrasya vaśmi ||

English translation:

Maruts, I solicit of you those medicaments which are pure; those, showerers (of benefits), which give great plural asure; those which fonfer felicity; those which (our) sire, Manu, selected; and those (medicaments) of Rudra which are the alleviation (of disease), and defence (against danger).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Those which our sire Manu selected: yāni manur avṛṇītā pitā naḥ: Mahābhārata legend: reference to the vegetable seeds which Manu was directed to take with him into the vessel in which he was preserved at the time of the deluge
