वि मच्छ्र॑थाय रश॒नामि॒वाग॑ ऋ॒ध्याम॑ ते वरुण॒ खामृ॒तस्य॑ । मा तन्तु॑श्छेदि॒ वय॑तो॒ धियं॑ मे॒ मा मात्रा॑ शार्य॒पस॑: पु॒र ऋ॒तोः ॥
वि मच्छ्रथाय रशनामिवाग ऋध्याम ते वरुण खामृतस्य । मा तन्तुश्छेदि वयतो धियं मे मा मात्रा शार्यपसः पुर ऋतोः ॥
vi mac chrathāya raśanām ivāga ṛdhyāma te varuṇa khām ṛtasya | mā tantuś chedi vayato dhiyam me mā mātrā śāry apasaḥ pura ṛtoḥ ||

English translation:

“Cast off from me sin, Varuṇa, as if it were a rope; may we obtain from you a channel (filled) with water; cut not the thread of me (engaged in) weaving pious works; blight not the elements of holy rites before the season (of their maturity).”
