सेमाम॑विड्ढि॒ प्रभृ॑तिं॒ य ईशि॑षे॒ऽया वि॑धेम॒ नव॑या म॒हा गि॒रा । यथा॑ नो मी॒ढ्वान्त्स्तव॑ते॒ सखा॒ तव॒ बृह॑स्पते॒ सीष॑ध॒: सोत नो॑ म॒तिम् ॥
सेमामविड्ढि प्रभृतिं य ईशिषेऽया विधेम नवया महा गिरा । यथा नो मीढ्वान्त्स्तवते सखा तव बृहस्पते सीषधः सोत नो मतिम् ॥
semām aviḍḍhi prabhṛtiṃ ya īśiṣe 'yā vidhema navayā mahā girā | yathā no mīḍhvān stavate sakhā tava bṛhaspate sīṣadhaḥ sota no matim ||

English translation:

“Inasmuch, Bṛhaspati, as you rule (over all), accept this our propitiation; we worship you with this new and solemn hymn; since this your friend, our benefactor, celebrates you, do you fulfil our desires.”
