तेजि॑ष्ठया तप॒नी र॒क्षस॑स्तप॒ ये त्वा॑ नि॒दे द॑धि॒रे दृ॒ष्टवी॑र्यम् । आ॒विस्तत्कृ॑ष्व॒ यदस॑त्त उ॒क्थ्यं१॒॑ बृह॑स्पते॒ वि प॑रि॒रापो॑ अर्दय ॥
तेजिष्ठया तपनी रक्षसस्तप ये त्वा निदे दधिरे दृष्टवीर्यम् । आविस्तत्कृष्व यदसत्त उक्थ्यं बृहस्पते वि परिरापो अर्दय ॥
tejiṣṭhayā tapanī rakṣasas tapa ye tvā nide dadhire dṛṣṭavīryam | āvis tat kṛṣva yad asat ta ukthyam bṛhaspate vi parirāpo ardaya ||

English translation:

“Consume with your brightest (weapon) the rākṣasas, who have held your witnessed prowess in disdain; manifest, Bṛhaspati, your glorified (vigour), such as it was (of old), and destroy those who speak against you.”
