Rig Veda 2.17.6

सास्मा॒ अरं॑ बा॒हुभ्यां॒ यं पि॒ताकृ॑णो॒द्विश्व॑स्मा॒दा ज॒नुषो॒ वेद॑स॒स्परि॑ । येना॑ पृथि॒व्यां नि क्रिविं॑ श॒यध्यै॒ वज्रे॑ण ह॒त्व्यवृ॑णक्तुवि॒ष्वणि॑: ॥
सास्मा अरं बाहुभ्यां यं पिताकृणोद्विश्वस्मादा जनुषो वेदसस्परि । येना पृथिव्यां नि क्रिविं शयध्यै वज्रेण हत्व्यवृणक्तुविष्वणिः ॥
sāsmā aram bāhubhyāṃ yam pitākṛṇod viśvasmād ā januṣo vedasas pari | yenā pṛthivyāṃ ni kriviṃ śayadhyai vajreṇa hatvy avṛṇak tuviṣvaṇiḥ ||

English translation:

“Sufficient was he for (the protection of) this (world), which he, its defender, fabricated with his two arms for the sake of all mankind, over whom he was supreme by his wisdom; whereby, (also), he the loud-shouting, having struck Krivi (asura) with the thunderbolt, consigned him to (eternal) slumber on the earth.”
