जिघ॑र्म्य॒ग्निं ह॒विषा॑ घृ॒तेन॑ प्रतिक्षि॒यन्तं॒ भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑ । पृ॒थुं ति॑र॒श्चा वय॑सा बृ॒हन्तं॒ व्यचि॑ष्ठ॒मन्नै॑ रभ॒सं दृशा॑नम् ॥
जिघर्म्यग्निं हविषा घृतेन प्रतिक्षियन्तं भुवनानि विश्वा । पृथुं तिरश्चा वयसा बृहन्तं व्यचिष्ठमन्नै रभसं दृशानम् ॥
jigharmy agniṃ haviṣā ghṛtena pratikṣiyantam bhuvanāni viśvā | pṛthuṃ tiraścā vayasā bṛhantaṃ vyaciṣṭham annai rabhasaṃ dṛśānam ||

English translation:

“I offer oblations with butter to Agni, who spreads through all regions, vast, expanding, with all-comprehending form, nourished (with sacrificial) food, powerful, conspicuous.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Offer oblations with butter: jigharmy agnim haviṣā ghṛtena = a tva jigharmi manasā ghṛtena (Yajus. 11.23), I sprinkle you with butter, with a believing mind: śraddhāyuktena cittena; vast, expanding: pṛthum tiraścā = vast with crooked-going or undulating radiance; vayasā bṛhantam = augmenting with smoke
