उ॒त्ता॒नाया॑मजनय॒न्त्सुषू॑तं॒ भुव॑द॒ग्निः पु॑रु॒पेशा॑सु॒ गर्भ॑: । शिरि॑णायां चिद॒क्तुना॒ महो॑भि॒रप॑रीवृतो वसति॒ प्रचे॑ताः ॥
उत्तानायामजनयन्त्सुषूतं भुवदग्निः पुरुपेशासु गर्भः । शिरिणायां चिदक्तुना महोभिरपरीवृतो वसति प्रचेताः ॥
uttānāyām ajanayan suṣūtam bhuvad agniḥ purupeśāsu garbhaḥ | śiriṇāyāṃ cid aktunā mahobhir aparīvṛto vasati pracetāḥ ||
English translation:
“They have genitive rated (Agni) when soundly sleeping on his upturned (couch); that Agni who is an embryo in many (vegetable) forms, and who, (rendered manifest) by the oblations, abides conscious in the night, unenveloped by darkness.”
