Rig Veda 2.7.5

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

त्वं नो॑ असि भार॒ताग्ने॑ व॒शाभि॑रु॒क्षभि॑: । अ॒ष्टाप॑दीभि॒राहु॑तः ॥
त्वं नो असि भारताग्ने वशाभिरुक्षभिः । अष्टापदीभिराहुतः ॥
tvaṃ no asi bhāratāgne vaśābhir ukṣabhiḥ | aṣṭāpadībhir āhutaḥ ||

English translation:

Agni, descendantof Bharatā, you are entirely ours, when sacrificed to with pregnant kine, with barren cows, or bulls.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

When sacrificed to with: vaśābhir ukṣabhiḥ aṣṭāpadībhirāhutaḥ, offered or sacrificed to with barren cows, vaśā; will bulls, ukṣa, and with eight-footed animals, i.e. a cow with calf; it is remarkable that these animals should be sprung of a burnt-offering
