Rig Veda 1.191.5

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

ए॒त उ॒ त्ये प्रत्य॑दृश्रन्प्रदो॒षं तस्क॑रा इव । अदृ॑ष्टा॒ विश्व॑दृष्टा॒: प्रति॑बुद्धा अभूतन ॥
एत उ त्ये प्रत्यदृश्रन्प्रदोषं तस्करा इव । अदृष्टा विश्वदृष्टाः प्रतिबुद्धा अभूतन ॥
eta u tye praty adṛśran pradoṣaṃ taskarā iva | adṛṣṭā viśvadṛṣṭāḥ pratibuddhā abhūtana ||

English translation:

“Or they may be discovered (in the dark), as thieves in the (dusk of) evening; for although they be unseen, yet all are seen by them; therefore, men, be vigilant.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Discovered in the dark: as snakes by their breathing; yet all are seen by them: viśvadṛṣṭā, undertood it as a bahuvrīhi compound
