उप॑स्तुतिं॒ नम॑स॒ उद्य॑तिं च॒ श्लोकं॑ यंसत्सवि॒तेव॒ प्र बा॒हू । अ॒स्य क्रत्वा॑ह॒न्यो॒३॒॑ यो अस्ति॑ मृ॒गो न भी॒मो अ॑र॒क्षस॒स्तुवि॑ष्मान् ॥
उपस्तुतिं नमस उद्यतिं च श्लोकं यंसत्सवितेव प्र बाहू । अस्य क्रत्वाहन्यो यो अस्ति मृगो न भीमो अरक्षसस्तुविष्मान् ॥
upastutiṃ namasa udyatiṃ ca ślokaṃ yaṃsat saviteva pra bāhū | asya kratvāhanyo yo asti mṛgo na bhīmo arakṣasas tuviṣmān ||
English translation:
“He is ready (to accept) the offered praise, the presentation of the homage, the hymn, as the sun (is ready) to put forth his rays; by the acts of him whom the rākṣasas (oppose not), the daily (revolving sun) exists, and he is strong as a fearful beast of prey.”
