त्वं ताँ अ॑ग्न उ॒भया॒न्वि वि॒द्वान्वेषि॑ प्रपि॒त्वे मनु॑षो यजत्र । अ॒भि॒पि॒त्वे मन॑वे॒ शास्यो॑ भूर्मर्मृ॒जेन्य॑ उ॒शिग्भि॒र्नाक्रः ॥
त्वं ताँ अग्न उभयान्वि विद्वान्वेषि प्रपित्वे मनुषो यजत्र । अभिपित्वे मनवे शास्यो भूर्मर्मृजेन्य उशिग्भिर्नाक्रः ॥
tvaṃ tām̐ agna ubhayān vi vidvān veṣi prapitve manuṣo yajatra | abhipitve manave śāsyo bhūr marmṛjenya uśigbhir nākraḥ ||

English translation:

“Adorable Agni, you are sagacious, and in a short time discriminate between both those men (who do and do not worshhip you); approach the worshipper at the proper time, and be compliant (with his wishes); like an instrumental tutor of the rite, (who is directed) by the desires (of the priests).”
