यद॒पामोष॑धीनां परिं॒शमा॑रि॒शाम॑हे । वाता॑पे॒ पीव॒ इद्भ॑व ॥
यदपामोषधीनां परिंशमारिशामहे । वातापे पीव इद्भव ॥
yad apām oṣadhīnām pariṃśam āriśāmahe | vātāpe pīva id bhava ||
English translation:
“And since we enjoy the abundance of the waters and the plural nts; therefore, Body, do you grow fat.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Vātāpe pīva id bhava: vātāpi = śarīra, that which is sustained by vitality, vāta
