त्वम॒स्माक॑मिन्द्र वि॒श्वध॑ स्या अवृ॒कत॑मो न॒रां नृ॑पा॒ता । स नो॒ विश्वा॑सां स्पृ॒धां स॑हो॒दा वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम् ॥
त्वमस्माकमिन्द्र विश्वध स्या अवृकतमो नरां नृपाता । स नो विश्वासां स्पृधां सहोदा विद्यामेषं वृजनं जीरदानुम् ॥
tvam asmākam indra viśvadha syā avṛkatamo narāṃ nṛpātā | sa no viśvāsāṃ spṛdhāṃ sahodā vidyāmeṣaṃ vṛjanaṃ jīradānum ||

English translation:

“Be you, Indra, at all times our especial defender; the preserver of our people, the bestower of strength upon all these our emulous (followers); that we may obtain food, strength, and long life.”
