असू॑त॒ पृश्नि॑र्मह॒ते रणा॑य त्वे॒षम॒यासां॑ म॒रुता॒मनी॑कम् । ते स॑प्स॒रासो॑ऽजनय॒न्ताभ्व॒मादित्स्व॒धामि॑षि॒रां पर्य॑पश्यन् ॥
असूत पृश्निर्महते रणाय त्वेषमयासां मरुतामनीकम् । ते सप्सरासोऽजनयन्ताभ्वमादित्स्वधामिषिरां पर्यपश्यन् ॥
asūta pṛśnir mahate raṇāya tveṣam ayāsām marutām anīkam | te sapsarāso 'janayantābhvam ād it svadhām iṣirām pary apaśyan ||
English translation:
“Pṛśni bore the brilliant troop of the quick-moving Maruts for the great combat (with the clouds), whereupon (mankind) immediately beheld the desiderated food.”
