येन॑ दी॒र्घं म॑रुतः शू॒शवा॑म यु॒ष्माके॑न॒ परी॑णसा तुरासः । आ यत्त॒तन॑न्वृ॒जने॒ जना॑स ए॒भिर्य॒ज्ञेभि॒स्तद॒भीष्टि॑मश्याम् ॥
येन दीर्घं मरुतः शूशवाम युष्माकेन परीणसा तुरासः । आ यत्ततनन्वृजने जनास एभिर्यज्ञेभिस्तदभीष्टिमश्याम् ॥
yena dīrgham marutaḥ śūśavāma yuṣmākena parīṇasā turāsaḥ | ā yat tatanan vṛjane janāsa ebhir yajñebhis tad abhīṣṭim aśyām ||
English translation:
“Quick-moving Maruts, we augment the long (offered ceremony) upon your mighty (approach), whereby men triumph in war; may we obtain, by these our sacrifices, your wished-for (presence).”
