भूरि॑ चकर्थ॒ युज्ये॑भिर॒स्मे स॑मा॒नेभि॑र्वृषभ॒ पौंस्ये॑भिः । भूरी॑णि॒ हि कृ॒णवा॑मा शवि॒ष्ठेन्द्र॒ क्रत्वा॑ मरुतो॒ यद्वशा॑म ॥
भूरि चकर्थ युज्येभिरस्मे समानेभिर्वृषभ पौंस्येभिः । भूरीणि हि कृणवामा शविष्ठेन्द्र क्रत्वा मरुतो यद्वशाम ॥
bhūri cakartha yujyebhir asme samānebhir vṛṣabha pauṃsyebhiḥ | bhūrīṇi hi kṛṇavāmā śaviṣṭhendra kratvā maruto yad vaśāma ||

English translation:

“(The Maruts): Showerer (of benefits), you have done much; but it has been without united equal energies; for we, too, most powerful Indra, have done many things, and by our deeds (we are, as) we desire to be, Maruts.”
