सने॑मि च॒क्रम॒जरं॒ वि वा॑वृत उत्ता॒नायां॒ दश॑ यु॒क्ता व॑हन्ति । सूर्य॑स्य॒ चक्षू॒ रज॑सै॒त्यावृ॑तं॒ तस्मि॒न्नार्पि॑ता॒ भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑ ॥
सनेमि चक्रमजरं वि वावृत उत्तानायां दश युक्ता वहन्ति । सूर्यस्य चक्षू रजसैत्यावृतं तस्मिन्नार्पिता भुवनानि विश्वा ॥
sanemi cakram ajaraṃ vi vāvṛta uttānāyāṃ daśa yuktā vahanti | sūryasya cakṣū rajasaity āvṛtaṃ tasminn ārpitā bhuvanāni viśvā ||

English translation:

“The even-fellied, undecaying wheel, repeatedly revolves; ten, united on the upper surface, bear (the world); the orb of the sun proceeds, invested with water, and in it are all beings deposited.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Ten: the ten organs of sense, or he five lokapālas, guardians of the world, and five classes of human beings; upper surface: uttānāyām, or the upper part; ūrdhvatanāyām, or the pole, īṣāyām; or the earth spread above, uparī vistṛta bh_myām; the orb of the sun: sūryasya cakṣus. = liṭ, the eye of the sun, either the display of the nature or radiance of the sun, or his orb, being, as it were, the eye of all; sarvasya cakṣuḥ sthānīyam vā maṇḍalam
