Rig Veda 1.162.12

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

ये वा॒जिनं॑ परि॒पश्य॑न्ति प॒क्वं य ई॑मा॒हुः सु॑र॒भिर्निर्ह॒रेति॑ । ये चार्व॑तो मांसभि॒क्षामु॒पास॑त उ॒तो तेषा॑म॒भिगू॑र्तिर्न इन्वतु ॥
ये वाजिनं परिपश्यन्ति पक्वं य ईमाहुः सुरभिर्निर्हरेति । ये चार्वतो मांसभिक्षामुपासत उतो तेषामभिगूर्तिर्न इन्वतु ॥
ye vājinam paripaśyanti pakvaṃ ya īm āhuḥ surabhir nir hareti | ye cārvato māṃsabhikṣām upāsata uto teṣām abhigūrtir na invatu ||

English translation:

“Let their exertions be for our good who watch the cooking of the horse; who say, it is fragrant; therefore give us some; who solicit the flesh of the horse as alms.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Therefore give us some: ya īm āhuḥ suribhir nirhareti = ye cainam śobhana gandho ataḥ kiñcid asmabhyam dehi = who say of it, it is fragrant, therefore, give us some; or, give to to the gods;

Nirhara = take off, or give, having no government
