आ न॒ ऊर्जं॑ वहतमश्विना यु॒वं मधु॑मत्या न॒: कश॑या मिमिक्षतम् । प्रायु॒स्तारि॑ष्टं॒ नी रपां॑सि मृक्षतं॒ सेध॑तं॒ द्वेषो॒ भव॑तं सचा॒भुवा॑ ॥
आ न ऊर्जं वहतमश्विना युवं मधुमत्या नः कशया मिमिक्षतम् । प्रायुस्तारिष्टं नी रपांसि मृक्षतं सेधतं द्वेषो भवतं सचाभुवा ॥
ā na ūrjaṃ vahatam aśvinā yuvam madhumatyā naḥ kaśayā mimikṣatam | prāyus tāriṣṭaṃ nī rapāṃsi mṛkṣataṃ sedhataṃ dveṣo bhavataṃ sacābhuvā ||
English translation:
“Bring us, Aśvins, vigour; animate us with your honied speech; prolong our existence; wipe away our sins; destroy our foes; be ever our associates.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
With your honied speech: madhumatyā naḥ kaśayā mimikṣatam = liṭ, mix us with your honied whip;
Kaṣa = vāk, speech;
