म॒ही अत्र॑ महि॒ना वार॑मृण्वथोऽरे॒णव॒स्तुज॒ आ सद्म॑न्धे॒नव॑: । स्वर॑न्ति॒ ता उ॑प॒रता॑ति॒ सूर्य॒मा नि॒म्रुच॑ उ॒षस॑स्तक्व॒वीरि॑व ॥
मही अत्र महिना वारमृण्वथोऽरेणवस्तुज आ सद्मन्धेनवः । स्वरन्ति ता उपरताति सूर्यमा निम्रुच उषसस्तक्ववीरिव ॥
mahī atra mahinā vāram ṛṇvatho 'reṇavas tuja ā sadman dhenavaḥ | svaranti tā uparatāti sūryam ā nimruca uṣasas takvavīr iva ||

English translation:

“You bring (the cattle) to their acceptable (pasture) upon earth, whence the milk-yielding cows, protected by your power, return unharmed to their stalls; they cry to the sun (in heaven) above, both at evening and at dawn, as one (cries aloud) who detects a thief.”
