Rig Veda 1.145.4

उ॒प॒स्थायं॑ चरति॒ यत्स॒मार॑त स॒द्यो जा॒तस्त॑त्सार॒ युज्ये॑भिः । अ॒भि श्वा॒न्तं मृ॑शते ना॒न्द्ये॑ मु॒दे यदीं॒ गच्छ॑न्त्युश॒तीर॑पिष्ठि॒तम् ॥
उपस्थायं चरति यत्समारत सद्यो जातस्तत्सार युज्येभिः । अभि श्वान्तं मृशते नान्द्ये मुदे यदीं गच्छन्त्युशतीरपिष्ठितम् ॥
upasthāyaṃ carati yat samārata sadyo jātas tatsāra yujyebhiḥ | abhi śvāntam mṛśate nāndye mude yad īṃ gacchanty uśatīr apiṣṭhitam ||

English translation:

“When (the priest) proceeds to effect his development, he is (at once) manifested; and as soon as engendered, is associated with his objects; he provides for the gratification (of his worshipper), plural cidly engaged in the agreeable (rite), when the (oblations) that desire (his acceptance) reach him present (at the sacrifice).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Explanations: as being joined with abilities, that may be associated with their objects, or with energies (tejobhiḥ) fit to be connected with their consequences, or with his horses joined to his car
