न यो वरा॑य म॒रुता॑मिव स्व॒नः सेने॑व सृ॒ष्टा दि॒व्या यथा॒शनि॑: । अ॒ग्निर्जम्भै॑स्तिगि॒तैर॑त्ति॒ भर्व॑ति यो॒धो न शत्रू॒न्त्स वना॒ न्यृ॑ञ्जते ॥
न यो वराय मरुतामिव स्वनः सेनेव सृष्टा दिव्या यथाशनिः । अग्निर्जम्भैस्तिगितैरत्ति भर्वति योधो न शत्रून्त्स वना न्यृञ्जते ॥
na yo varāya marutām iva svanaḥ seneva sṛṣṭā divyā yathāśaniḥ | agnir jambhais tigitair atti bharvati yodho na śatrūn sa vanā ny ṛñjate ||

English translation:

Agni, who, like the roaring of the winds, like a victorious host, like the thunderbolt in heaven, is not to be arrested, devours and destroys (our foes) with sharpened teeth (bharva hiṃsāyām; bharvatirattikarmā: Nirukta 9.23), and, as a warrior (annihilates his enemies), he, (Agni), lays waste the woods.”
