गृ॒हंगृ॑हमह॒ना या॒त्यच्छा॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे॒ अधि॒ नामा॒ दधा॑ना । सिषा॑सन्ती द्योत॒ना शश्व॒दागा॒दग्र॑मग्र॒मिद्भ॑जते॒ वसू॑नाम् ॥
गृहंगृहमहना यात्यच्छा दिवेदिवे अधि नामा दधाना । सिषासन्ती द्योतना शश्वदागादग्रमग्रमिद्भजते वसूनाम् ॥
gṛhaṃ-gṛham ahanā yāty acchā dive-dive adhi nāmā dadhānā | siṣāsantī dyotanā śaśvad āgād agram-agram id bhajate vasūnām ||
English translation:
“Ahana, charged with downward-bending (light), goes daily from house to house; she comes, perpetually diffusing light, and desirous of bestowing (benefits), and accepts the choicest portions of (the sacrificial) treasures.”
