Rig Veda 1.105.18

अ॒रु॒णो मा॑ स॒कृद्वृक॑: प॒था यन्तं॑ द॒दर्श॒ हि । उज्जि॑हीते नि॒चाय्या॒ तष्टे॑व पृष्ट्याम॒यी वि॒त्तं मे॑ अ॒स्य रो॑दसी ॥
अरुणो मा सकृद्वृकः पथा यन्तं ददर्श हि । उज्जिहीते निचाय्या तष्टेव पृष्ट्यामयी वित्तं मे अस्य रोदसी ॥
aruṇo mā sakṛd vṛkaḥ pathā yantaṃ dadarśa hi | uj jihīte nicāyyā taṣṭeva pṛṣṭyāmayī vittam me asya rodasī ||

English translation:

“Once, a tawny wolf beheld me faring on my way, and having seen me, rushed upon me, (rearing) as a carpenter, whose back aches (with stooping, standing erect in his work).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

The wolf, like the carpenter, was ūrdhvābhimukha (standing in presence erect). If vṛka = moon and mā sakṛt (me once) is rendered māsakṛt (month-maker), the rendering is: the moon, having contemplated the constellations goind along the path of the sky, became united with one of them; paying, therefore, no attention to Trita in the well
