Rig Veda 1.105.6

कद्व॑ ऋ॒तस्य॑ धर्ण॒सि कद्वरु॑णस्य॒ चक्ष॑णम् । कद॑र्य॒म्णो म॒हस्प॒थाति॑ क्रामेम दू॒ढ्यो॑ वि॒त्तं मे॑ अ॒स्य रो॑दसी ॥
कद्व ऋतस्य धर्णसि कद्वरुणस्य चक्षणम् । कदर्यम्णो महस्पथाति क्रामेम दूढ्यो वित्तं मे अस्य रोदसी ॥
kad va ṛtasya dharṇasi kad varuṇasya cakṣaṇam | kad aryamṇo mahas pathāti krāmema dūḍhyo vittam me asya rodasī ||

English translation:

“Where, deities, is your observance of the truth, where the (benignant) regard of Varuṇa, where is the path of the mighty Aryaman, (so that) we may overcome the malevolent? Heaven and earth, be conscious of this (my affliction).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Varuṇa and Aryaman: Varuṇa is the obstructor of evil, which is undesired (aniṣṭanivāraka); Aryaman, is the restrainer of enemies (ariṇām niyantā)
