तत्त॑ इन्द्रि॒यं प॑र॒मं प॑रा॒चैरधा॑रयन्त क॒वय॑: पु॒रेदम् । क्ष॒मेदम॒न्यद्दि॒व्य१॒॑न्यद॑स्य॒ समी॑ पृच्यते सम॒नेव॑ के॒तुः ॥
तत्त इन्द्रियं परमं पराचैरधारयन्त कवयः पुरेदम् । क्षमेदमन्यद्दिव्यन्यदस्य समी पृच्यते समनेव केतुः ॥
tat ta indriyam paramam parācair adhārayanta kavayaḥ puredam | kṣamedam anyad divy anyad asya sam ī pṛcyate samaneva ketuḥ ||
English translation:
“The sages have formerly been possessed of this your supreme power, Indra, as if it were present with them, one light of whom shines upon the earth, the other in heaven, and both are in combination with each other, as banner (mingles with banner) in battle.”
