यस्य॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी पौंस्यं॑ म॒हद्यस्य॑ व्र॒ते वरु॑णो॒ यस्य॒ सूर्य॑: । यस्येन्द्र॑स्य॒ सिन्ध॑व॒: सश्च॑ति व्र॒तं म॒रुत्व॑न्तं स॒ख्याय॑ हवामहे ॥
यस्य द्यावापृथिवी पौंस्यं महद्यस्य व्रते वरुणो यस्य सूर्यः । यस्येन्द्रस्य सिन्धवः सश्चति व्रतं मरुत्वन्तं सख्याय हवामहे ॥
yasya dyāvāpṛthivī pauṃsyam mahad yasya vrate varuṇo yasya sūryaḥ | yasyendrasya sindhavaḥ saścati vratam marutvantaṃ sakhyāya havāmahe ||
English translation:
“We invoke to become our friend, Indra, who is attended by the Maruts; whose great power (pervades) heaven and earth, in whose service Varuṇa and Sūrya are steadfast, and whose commadn the rivers obey.”
