धन्व॒न्त्स्रोत॑: कृणुते गा॒तुमू॒र्मिं शु॒क्रैरू॒र्मिभि॑र॒भि न॑क्षति॒ क्षाम् । विश्वा॒ सना॑नि ज॒ठरे॑षु धत्ते॒ऽन्तर्नवा॑सु चरति प्र॒सूषु॑ ॥
धन्वन्त्स्रोतः कृणुते गातुमूर्मिं शुक्रैरूर्मिभिरभि नक्षति क्षाम् । विश्वा सनानि जठरेषु धत्तेऽन्तर्नवासु चरति प्रसूषु ॥
dhanvan srotaḥ kṛṇute gātum ūrmiṃ śukrair ūrmibhir abhi nakṣati kṣām | viśvā sanāni jaṭhareṣu dhatte 'ntar navāsu carati prasūṣu ||
English translation:
“He causes the waters to flow in a torrent through the sky, and with those pure waves he inundates the earth; he gathers all (articles of) food in the stomach, and for that purpose sojourns in the new-sprung parents (of the gain).”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Navasu prasuṣu = in the new parents, or mothers; i.e. in the oṣadhis, the annual crops whichripen after the rains and bear food, being impregnated by the terrestrial Agni
