दे॒वो दे॒वाना॑मसि मि॒त्रो अद्भु॑तो॒ वसु॒र्वसू॑नामसि॒ चारु॑रध्व॒रे । शर्म॑न्त्स्याम॒ तव॑ स॒प्रथ॑स्त॒मेऽग्ने॑ स॒ख्ये मा रि॑षामा व॒यं तव॑ ॥
देवो देवानामसि मित्रो अद्भुतो वसुर्वसूनामसि चारुरध्वरे । शर्मन्त्स्याम तव सप्रथस्तमेऽग्ने सख्ये मा रिषामा वयं तव ॥
devo devānām asi mitro adbhuto vasur vasūnām asi cārur adhvare | śarman syāma tava saprathastame 'gne sakhye mā riṣāmā vayaṃ tava ||

English translation:

“You, brilliant (Agni), are the especial friend of the gods; you, who are graceful in the sacrifice are the confirmer of all riches; may we be present in your most spacious chamber of sacrifice; let us not, Agni, suffer injury through your friendship.”
