यदयु॑क्था अरु॒षा रोहि॑ता॒ रथे॒ वात॑जूता वृष॒भस्ये॑व ते॒ रव॑: । आदि॑न्वसि व॒निनो॑ धू॒मके॑तु॒नाग्ने॑ स॒ख्ये मा रि॑षामा व॒यं तव॑ ॥
यदयुक्था अरुषा रोहिता रथे वातजूता वृषभस्येव ते रवः । आदिन्वसि वनिनो धूमकेतुनाग्ने सख्ये मा रिषामा वयं तव ॥
yad ayukthā aruṣā rohitā rathe vātajūtā vṛṣabhasyeva te ravaḥ | ād invasi vanino dhūmaketunāgne sakhye mā riṣāmā vayaṃ tava ||

English translation:

“When you have yoked the bright red horses (ete vai devāśvāḥ: Taittirīya Saṃhitā 1.7.4.3), swift as the wind, to your car, your roar is like that of a bull, and you enwrap the forest trees with a banner of smoke; let us not, Agni, suffer injury through your friendship.”
