Rig Veda 1.91.6

त्वं च॑ सोम नो॒ वशो॑ जी॒वातुं॒ न म॑रामहे । प्रि॒यस्तो॑त्रो॒ वन॒स्पति॑: ॥
त्वं च सोम नो वशो जीवातुं न मरामहे । प्रियस्तोत्रो वनस्पतिः ॥
tvaṃ ca soma no vaśo jīvātuṃ na marāmahe | priyastotro vanaspatiḥ ||

English translation:

“You, Soma, fond of praise, the lord of plural nts, are life to us; if you will, we shall not die.”
