राज्ञो॒ नु ते॒ वरु॑णस्य व्र॒तानि॑ बृ॒हद्ग॑भी॒रं तव॑ सोम॒ धाम॑ । शुचि॒ष्ट्वम॑सि प्रि॒यो न मि॒त्रो द॒क्षाय्यो॑ अर्य॒मेवा॑सि सोम ॥
राज्ञो नु ते वरुणस्य व्रतानि बृहद्गभीरं तव सोम धाम । शुचिष्ट्वमसि प्रियो न मित्रो दक्षाय्यो अर्यमेवासि सोम ॥
rājño nu te varuṇasya vratāni bṛhad gabhīraṃ tava soma dhāma | śuciṣ ṭvam asi priyo na mitro dakṣāyyo aryamevāsi soma ||
English translation:
“Your acts are (like those) of the royal Varuṇa; your glory, Soma, is great and profound; you are the purifier (of all), like the beloved Mitra; you are the augmenter of all, like Aryaman.”

Rājño varuṇasya: yāgārtham āhṛtaḥ kṛto vastreṇāvṛtaḥ soma varuṇaḥ: varuṇa means that which is enclosed in a cloth, or the Soma which has been purchased for a sacrifice. soma asmākam brāhmaṇānām rājā, soma is the king of the brāhmaṇas (Taittirīya Saṃhitā 1.8.10.2); somarajāno brāhmaṇaḥ, the brāhmaṇas have soma for king
