गूह॑ता॒ गुह्यं॒ तमो॒ वि या॑त॒ विश्व॑म॒त्रिण॑म् । ज्योति॑ष्कर्ता॒ यदु॒श्मसि॑ ॥
गूहता गुह्यं तमो वि यात विश्वमत्रिणम् । ज्योतिष्कर्ता यदुश्मसि ॥
gūhatā guhyaṃ tamo vi yāta viśvam atriṇam | jyotiṣ kartā yad uśmasi ||

English translation:

“Dissipate the concealing darkness; drive away every devouring (foe); show us the light we long for.”
