Rig Veda 1.70.1

व॒नेम॑ पू॒र्वीर॒र्यो म॑नी॒षा अ॒ग्निः सु॒शोको॒ विश्वा॑न्यश्याः ॥
वनेम पूर्वीरर्यो मनीषा अग्निः सुशोको विश्वान्यश्याः ॥
vanema pūrvīr aryo manīṣā agniḥ suśoko viśvāny aśyāḥ ||

English translation:

“[1-2] We solicit abundant (food) Agni, who is to be approached by meditation, and shines with pure light, pervades all holy rites, knowing well the acts that are to be addressed to the deities, and (those) which regulate) the birth of the human race.”
